I build ambitious products
from zero to production.

Software engineer and product builder working across AI, IoT and cloud. I started building software and hardware to understand how things worked — eventually those projects left the desk: apps got users, hardware reached classrooms, and systems had to work in stadiums, hospitals and production.

Co-Founder & Technical Lead · 2024 — 2026

Problem

A physical science lab is out of reach for most schools — cost, space and maintenance keep students out of real experimentation.

What I built

A portable lab platform: a plug-and-play IoT sensor hub plus a cloud product that streams live experiment data, guides practices and generates reports — with an AI assistant (LLMs + computer vision) that analyses results and writes them up.

How it grew

What started as an engineering project became a company. I architected the full stack — and as the product grew, my responsibilities grew with it: the technical roadmap, a 7-person team across firmware, backend, web and design, funding, pilots and product decisions.

IEEE SBRM 2025

Chair · fully volunteer organizing team

I proposed, won and ran Uruguay's first Student Branches Regional Meeting: a six-figure, three-day congress for 200+ students and young professionals from 15+ countries, with international speakers, workshops and sponsor programs.

Owned budget, sponsorship (IEEE Region 9, IEEE Foundation, Photonics & ComSoc, Oracle), logistics and a distributed volunteer team — the closest thing to running a company for a year.

World Travel Inc.

Full Stack Engineer · founding Uruguay team

One of the largest corporate travel consolidators in the US. I joined the founding engineering team in Uruguay, building and maintaining production web applications that carry real-time travel data and enterprise integrations for global corporate clients.

  • Led the maintenance and feature team for systems in production.
  • Shipped full-stack work on Next.js, PostgreSQL and AWS.
  • Hardened CI/CD, monitoring and alerting to cut downtime and hold SLAs.
  • Worked daily with distributed international teams and corporate IT standards.

Why it matters: proof I operate inside large-company constraints — compliance, reliability, review culture — not only in startup mode.

04 — About

I like owning the whole problem.

I'm an engineer from Uruguay. I enjoy owning problems end-to-end: understanding what actually needs to be solved, designing the system, writing the code, shipping it — and seeing what happens when real people use it.

Taking products further kept forcing me to learn things that don't fit inside an IDE: talking to users, prioritizing a roadmap, presenting ideas, raising funding, coordinating a team. Those things made me a better engineer — not a less technical one.

I still want to be close to the architecture, the code and the product.

06 — Let's talk

Building something
ambitious?

I'm looking for the next hard product to build — product engineering, forward-deployed engineering and founding-engineer roles where engineers have real ownership, from the problem to architecture, implementation and production. I do my best work embedded where the problem lives — with users, clients and real constraints, not just tickets. Comfortable taking technical leadership when needed, but always close to the product and the code.
